NCT ID NCT06450678
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether a special physiotherapy assessment, called the EPIC Assessment, can predict which patients in the intensive care unit will have trouble after their breathing tube is removed. About 330 adults on ventilators for more than 48 hours will be evaluated. The goal is to reduce the risk of complications like pneumonia and death by identifying failures early.
