First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early study tested an experimental drug called ENX-104 in 48 adults with major depressive disorder who also experience anhedonia (loss of interest or pleasure). The main goal was to check the drug's safety and how the body processes it. Researchers measured side effects and drug levels in the blood. This is a phase 1 trial, so it's one of the first steps in seeing if the drug might help ease symptoms.
