Summary

This study tests a new program where trained community volunteers reach out weekly by phone or text to people who recently visited the emergency room for suicidal thoughts. The goal is to see if this support is helpful and practical. Twenty adults will receive 12 weeks of check-ins, coping tips, and caring messages, and will fill out monthly surveys.
