First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving community first responders real-time feedback and video support from dispatchers helps them perform better CPR during out-of-hospital cardiac arrests. About 165 trained volunteers will be randomly assigned to use the current system or an enhanced version with two-way audio and one-way video. The goal is to see if the new system improves chest compression quality and, ultimately, survival rates.
