First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether teaching COPD patients structured energy conservation techniques—like planning activities, using proper body mechanics, and breathing exercises—can improve their ability to do daily tasks, reduce fatigue, and boost exercise capacity. Seventy patients with advanced COPD will be randomly assigned to receive this training or standard care. The goal is to see if these simple strategies help patients stay active with less shortness of breath.
