Summary

This study compares a procedure to remove blood clots (endovascular therapy) with standard medical care for people who have had a mild stroke caused by a blockage in a large brain artery. About 264 adults with mild symptoms (NIHSS score 2-5) will be enrolled within 24 hours of stroke onset. The goal is to see if the procedure leads to better functional recovery at 90 days.
