Summary

This study tests a permanent artificial implant called EndoArt® for people with chronic corneal edema (swelling of the clear front part of the eye) who have had multiple failed cornea transplants and cannot have another one. The implant acts as a barrier to stop fluid from entering the cornea. The study will enroll 123 participants and measure safety and vision improvement over 12 months.
