NCT ID NCT03535922
First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether having people on dialysis fill out regular questionnaires about their symptoms and well-being helps them communicate better with their healthcare team. Over 3,900 patients from dialysis centers in Alberta and Ontario took part. Some patients completed questionnaires about kidney-related symptoms, general health, or both, while others received usual care. The main goal was to see if these questionnaires improved patient-clinician communication.
