First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at how emotional eating (eating in response to feelings, not hunger) and sleep quality are linked to metabolic syndrome risk in 78 adults with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Researchers will measure mental state, eating habits, sleep, and metabolic risk to find new ways to reduce health problems in this group. No treatment is given; it is an observational study.
