First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

This pilot study is testing whether a therapy called EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) can help reduce post-traumatic stress and psychological distress in people with advanced thyroid cancer. The study will enroll 25 participants who have cancer and PTSD symptoms. They will receive group and individual EMDR sessions. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and helpful.
