New spray could speed healing of stubborn diabetic foot sores

Summary

This early-stage study tests a topical spray called ELU42 for diabetic foot ulcers that have not healed for at least 4 weeks. The goal is to see if the spray is safe and can shrink or close these wounds. Fifteen adults with mild-to-moderate ulcers will receive the spray three times a week for six weeks, along with standard wound care.
