Summary
This study tests whether a gentle electric current applied to acupuncture points can improve memory and thinking in people who have had a stroke. 110 adults with mild to moderate cognitive problems will be randomly assigned to receive either real or sham electroacupuncture, plus standard care. The main goal is to see if the real treatment leads to better scores on thinking tests over 6 months.
