First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining electroacupuncture (a gentle electric current through thin needles) with self-acupressure (pressing specific points on the body) can improve quality of life for people with early-stage breast cancer who are undergoing chemotherapy. About 192 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the acupuncture/acupressure treatment or standard care. The goal is to see if these techniques help reduce pain, anxiety, and other side effects during treatment.
