First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a new web-based program designed to help people with pancreatic cancer manage stress and symptoms. Sixty participants will complete weekly one-hour online sessions for ten weeks, learning relaxation, coping, and communication skills. The goal is to see if the program is practical and helpful for improving quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
eHealth psychosocial stress and symptom management intervention (ePSMI)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a practical, accessible way for pancreatic cancer patients to better manage stress and symptoms at home.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early feasibility study with only 60 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. The program requires time and effort, and benefits may be modest.
