Summary

This study tested a new medicine called efsubaglutide alfa in 59 adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar was not well controlled by diet and exercise alone. Participants received an injection every two weeks for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if it safely lowers blood sugar levels. This is a disease management approach, not a cure.
