First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the amount of effort during resistance exercise (like lifting weights) changes blood sugar levels in people with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. Fifteen participants will try a high-effort workout, a low-effort workout, and a no-exercise day. Researchers will measure blood sugar and how people feel after each session to find the best approach.
