Summary
This study looks at how two common anesthesia drugs, propofol and alfentanil, change brain activity during a procedure called ERCP (a scope exam of the bile ducts). Researchers will monitor 20 patients' brain waves and pain signals to better understand how these drugs work together. The goal is not to test a new treatment, but to gather knowledge that could improve how anesthesia is given in the future.
