Summary

This study aimed to find the genetic changes that cause Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). Researchers collected blood and saliva from 334 people with EDS and their relatives to compare their DNA. No treatment or intervention was given, and results were not shared with participants. The goal was to create a genetic test for EDS and see if saliva could replace blood for testing.
