First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tested a treatment called extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) in 15 people with multiple sclerosis (MS). ECP involves taking blood, treating it with light and a drug, then returning it to the body. The goal was to see if it is safe and might help improve walking, hand function, and overall disability. The trial included both relapsing-remitting and secondary progressive MS patients.
