First seen Feb 10, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a single-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) analyzed by machine learning can screen for heart conditions, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease. Researchers will enroll about 5000 adults who have already had a full medical exam. They will record a 1-minute ECG and use AI to find patterns that match known diseases, potentially creating a quick, simple screening tool.
