First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests a device called EarStim that gently stimulates the ear to temporarily improve movement problems in people with Parkinson's disease. It is for adults who have moderate to severe Parkinson's and experience 'off' periods when their usual medication wears off. The study compares the device to a sham (fake) treatment in a clinic, and then tests it at home for 90 days to see if it is safe and helpful.
