Early warning system could save lives of blood cancer patients

Summary
This study looks at whether using a simple early warning score (based on vital signs like heart rate and oxygen levels) can help doctors identify blood cancer patients who are getting sicker and need intensive care. The goal is to see if moving these patients to the ICU sooner can reduce deaths and the need for life support. About 2,224 adults receiving intensive chemotherapy for leukemia, lymphoma, or multiple myeloma will take part.
