Early acid blocker may shield kidneys in trauma bleeding

Summary
This study tests whether giving a stomach acid drug (pantoprazole) early after severe bleeding from injury can reduce kidney damage. About 100 adults with hemorrhagic shock will be randomly assigned to get the drug early or at the usual time. The goal is to see if early treatment lowers kidney injury and improves recovery.
