Nerve block may ease ear surgery pain, cut opioid use

Summary
This study tests whether an ultrasound-guided nerve block (auricularis magnus block) can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after middle ear surgery. About 56 adults having elective ear surgery will receive the block or standard care. The goal is to improve recovery and reduce opioid use.
