Can vaping help asthmatic smokers breathe easier?
NCT ID NCT05278065
Summary
This small study tested whether giving free electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) to adult smokers with asthma would help them smoke fewer regular cigarettes. Seventeen participants were either given e-cigs or just monitored for 16 weeks. Researchers wanted to see if switching to e-cigs reduced cigarette use and improved breathing for people with asthma.
