Summary
This study tests a virtual reality (VR) program called E-Invite Only VR to prevent middle school students from starting to use e-cigarettes. About 1,250 8th graders from schools in Connecticut and Massachusetts will play the VR game for about 2 hours total during class. The program teaches students skills to manage emotions and resist peer pressure to vape, with the goal of reducing nicotine addiction and related health risks like cancer.
