New drug DYNE-101 aims to ease muscle stiffness in rare disease

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called DYNE-101 for people with myotonic dystrophy type 1, a condition that causes muscle weakness and stiffness. The trial will check if the drug is safe and helps reduce muscle symptoms. About 116 adults will receive either DYNE-101 or a placebo through an IV, and the study lasts several years to see long-term effects.
