Summary

This study tests a new medicine, duvakitug, to see if it can help people with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis feel better and reach remission. About 980 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for up to 12 weeks. The goal is to reduce bowel urgency, bleeding, and inflammation without needing lifelong treatment, though ongoing management may still be needed.
