First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug dupilumab can help prevent asthma attacks in children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 who live in urban areas and have frequent asthma problems. About 240 participants will receive either dupilumab or a placebo for one year, and researchers will count how many asthma attacks occur. The goal is to see if this treatment can reduce serious breathing emergencies in a high-risk group.
