New tech rehab aims to rebuild brain and body after stroke, MS, Parkinson's, and long COVID
NCT ID NCT07254377
Summary
This study is testing new rehabilitation exercises that combine physical and mental tasks, like walking while solving a puzzle, to help people with stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, or long COVID. The goal is to see if these 'dual-task' exercises, often supported by technology, are better than standard rehab at improving walking, balance, thinking, and daily function. Researchers will enroll 48 people to compare the new approach against standard care and check if benefits last.
