First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether doing thinking tasks while exercising (dual-tasking) improves movement and brain function in people with COPD. 42 participants were split into two groups: one did standard pulmonary rehab, the other added cognitive tasks to walking and cycling. Researchers also compared COPD patients to healthy adults to see differences in dual-task ability.
