NCT ID NCT06275074
First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This pilot study from Mayo Clinic tests whether combining dry needling (a technique where thin needles are inserted into muscle knots) with therapeutic exercise can improve sleep in people with chronic neck pain and sleep problems. The study enrolls 28 adults aged 18-75 who have had neck pain for over 3 months and poor sleep. Researchers will measure how many people stick with the program, how well they follow the exercise plan, and any side effects, along with sleep quality and duration.
