Healthy volunteers help unravel drug interaction puzzle
NCT ID NCT07279233
First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at how carbamazepine, a drug used for seizures, changes the amount of mirdametinib in the blood. Thirty-six healthy adults took both drugs by mouth, and researchers measured drug levels over time. The goal was to understand if carbamazepine speeds up the breakdown of mirdametinib, which could affect dosing in future cancer patients. No treatment was given for any disease.
