Injury forces other hand to get better?
NCT ID NCT06783205
Summary
This study aimed to understand if being forced to use your non-dominant hand for 6 weeks after an injury to your dominant hand actually improves its function. Researchers measured the speed, strength, and ability of the healthy, non-dominant hand in 40 adults with a recent dominant hand injury. The goal was to gather knowledge about how the brain and body adapt when one hand is temporarily out of use.
