First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares two physical therapies for children aged 2-6 with spastic cerebral palsy, a condition that affects movement. One therapy, Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), focuses on repetitive, task-oriented exercises to build new brain connections. The other, the Bobath approach, is a more traditional method. Researchers will measure improvements in gross motor skills, trunk control, and sensorimotor development in 58 participants over several weeks.
