Summary

This trial tests whether a 12-week program of core stabilization exercises can improve balance, trunk control, and gross motor function in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Sixty children who can walk with some assistance will be randomly assigned to receive either standard physical therapy alone or standard therapy plus targeted core exercises. Researchers will measure changes in balance and movement at the end of the program to see if the extra exercises make a difference.
