Summary
This study is tracking 8,000 stroke survivors to understand why some develop memory and thinking problems (dementia) after a stroke. Researchers will use brain scans, blood tests, and thinking assessments to find factors that predict cognitive decline. The goal is to help doctors identify high-risk patients early and develop future treatments to improve recovery.
