Texting therapy: can personalized messages ease anxiety in young adults?

NCT ID NCT04948268

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week text messaging program could help young adults (ages 18-25) with depression and anxiety who were not interested in traditional therapy. Researchers compared personalized text messages (adjusted by a computer based on user responses) against generic messages and basic educational links. The goal was to see which approach kept participants engaged and best reduced their distress and symptoms.
