Summary

This pilot study will test a digital device that attaches to a standard COPD inhaler. The device coaches patients on proper inhaler technique and shares usage data with their healthcare team. Researchers want to see if this approach is practical and helps reduce hospital visits and symptom flare-ups. The study will enroll 20 adults with COPD and follow them for 6 months.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show that digital coaching and monitoring helps COPD patients use their inhalers better and avoid flare-ups.
