First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a digital escape room game could help nursing students learn how to manage hypovolemic shock, a life-threatening condition. About 55 third-year nursing students took part, with some playing the game and others attending a traditional lecture. While the game didn't improve test scores, students who played reported more enjoyment, motivation, and better critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
