First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a digital app to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) helps teens aged 12-17 who have both depression and overweight or obesity. Sixty teens will be randomly assigned to either CBT alone or CBT plus the app. The goal is to see if the app makes the therapy more effective at improving mood, healthy behaviors like exercise and sleep, and overall health.
