NCT ID NCT07286812

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will test if combining digital technology (analyzing how people walk, their facial expressions, and speech) with blood markers can better screen for early Alzheimer's disease in community adults aged 50 and older. The goal is to create a more efficient screening method than traditional questionnaires. Researchers will follow 1,000 participants over time to see if these tools can accurately identify those with early cognitive problems.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could lead to a simpler, more accurate way to catch Alzheimer's early, allowing for earlier treatment.

What could go wrong

This is an early-stage study that hasn't started recruiting yet. The digital and blood tests may not prove accurate enough for widespread use.
