Scientists test if sugar pills can tweak your immune system
NCT ID NCT05040204
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand how taking sugar-based dietary supplements affects certain proteins in the immune system of healthy people. Researchers will give supplements or a placebo to 44 healthy adults and analyze their blood to see if the supplements change how immune proteins are built. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how diet might influence the immune system, not to treat any disease.
