First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated Apr 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study is testing whether eating a high-fiber diet can change gut bacteria and improve the immune system's response to immunotherapy in people with advanced melanoma. Fifty patients starting standard immunotherapy will be randomly assigned to eat either a high-fiber diet or a standard healthy diet provided by the study. Researchers will measure changes in gut bacteria and immune cell activity to see if diet makes immunotherapy work better.
