First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a special diet (DASH diet with extra protein) combined with resistance exercise can help people with heart failure maintain muscle mass, improve their ability to exercise, and feel better overall. Researchers will enroll 100 adults with heart failure and reduced pumping function. Participants will be assigned to diet changes, exercise, both, or standard care to see which approach works best.
