Heart rhythm device study ends early – what it found about AFib control
NCT ID NCT05230524
First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 84 people with a type of irregular heartbeat called paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. They were treated with a special device (DiamondTemp Ablation System) that uses heat to fix the heart's electrical signals. The goal was to see how many stayed free of heart rhythm problems for up to 3 years, and to check for safety issues. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
