Summary

This study tested a diabetes prevention program designed for young adults at UCLA who are at high risk for type 2 diabetes, including those facing food or financial insecurity. About 80 students were split into two groups: one received a tailored 19-session program with a lifestyle coach, and the other received general health materials. The goal was to see if the program helped with weight loss and was practical and well-liked by students.
