Summary
This study tests whether giving a calming drug called dexmedetomidine early can help people with septic shock. The drug aims to calm an overactive nervous system, reduce organ damage, and improve survival. About 168 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for 48 hours, and their recovery will be tracked for 90 days.
