Summary
This study looked at whether giving children a drug called dexmedetomidine during tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy surgery can prevent restlessness and reduce pain afterward. 85 children aged 2-10 years took part. Researchers measured pain and anxiety levels after the operation to see if the drug helped.
