Can vitamin c supercharge your own tooth to save your jawbone?

NCT ID NCT06569264

Summary

This study is testing if adding vitamin C to a special bone graft made from a patient's own extracted tooth helps better preserve the width of the jawbone after a tooth is pulled. The goal is to keep the bone ready for a future dental implant. Researchers will compare the vitamin C-enhanced graft to the standard graft in 26 patients, measuring bone changes over 3 months.
